The company TransWest, based in Eeklo and specializing in storage and transport of frozen foods down to -25°C, recently took a sustainable step to reduce its carbon footprint and work toward lower energy costs in the long run. The solar production will also be able to be “stored” via smart monitoring and control via active control of the chillers on the site (by freezing temperature control).
